The Race

Wharncliffe Woods 10km race - Tuesday 11th July 6.45pm

Hillsborough & Rivelin Running Club are proud to host this challenging 10km trail race, all off road, but on runnable wide paths in the beautiful Wharncliffe Woods.

The event is a fully inclusive trail run open to all runners. The course is 10km long and undulating throughout. The paths are completely traffic free and offer some incredible views in places. During summer road or trail shoes are fine, except when there is a lot of rain, in this case, trail shoes are advisable. The course will be fully marshalled and signposted throughout.

HRRC are committed to making this event as enjoyable and inclusive to all runners. So, if you have never raced off road before, and are a little apprehensive, don’t be. There will be a tail runner to further ensure no one gets left behind.

Start Time - 6.45pm

Individual Prizes for all major age categories; and Team prizes 1st placed Male and Female senior and Vets teams. Top 3 placed runners count. Environmentally friendly medals for all finishers.
